Edwin Edwards once bragged that the only way he could lose an election in Louisiana was to get caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy. I drew this cartoon in May of '87, but no newspapers would run it.  Later I learned that it had leaked out and spread around the state by way of fax machines.  Gannett bureau chief John Hill even wrote about it in his column.
